With God All Things Are Possible

  • Matthew 19:26 …but with God all things are possible. (Mark 10:27)

  • Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…
  • John 15:7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

God is an amazing and loving Father who wants to bless us. With God, all things are possible. Men were put in a fire and never smelled like smoke while those who threw them in the fire died (Daniel 3:22). Daniel went in the den of lions but was not even touched. Those who had trapped Daniel were thrown in the lions’ den and never made it to the ground as they were ripped apart (Daniel 6:24). Paul was stoned and left for dead but when the disciples surrounded him, he got up and went to the village where those who had stoned him were (Acts 14:19-20). A viper fastened itself on Paul’s hand and he just shook it off without any consequences (Acts 28:5). Abraham got himself in trouble by saying Sarah was his sister and the Lord delivered him and blessed him when he was in error (Genesis 20:1-18). They wanted to kill Jesus but He escaped in a crowd (Luke 4:28-30). Gideon was able to win a battle with 300 men against 135,000 (Judges 7:8, 8:10). During a time of famine, Isaac planted crops and reaped a hundredfold (Genesis 26:12). Joshua won a battle against Jericho by going around the city 7 times (Joshua 6:1-5). Lazarus was brought to life after being dead for 4 days (John 11:43-44). Jesus told Peter that he would find the money for their taxes in the mouth of a fish (Matthew 17:27). A blind man encountered Jesus and left seeing (John 9:1-34). A demon-possessed man who had lost all his senses encountered Jesus and was then in his right mind (Mark 5:1-15). An adulteress who was to be stoned (as was the law) gets set free by the wisdom and love of Jesus (John 8:3-11). David won the battle against the giant Goliath with a slingshot and a stone. The common denominator here is that God is part of the equation. What natural impossibility do you need God to make possible in your life?

How to get the impossible:
  1. Seek Him with all your heart. Surrender to Him and live a life submitted to Him. God says you will find Him when you seek Him with all your heart. When you have that depth of intimacy with God, He’ll reveal to you all that He can do for you.
  2. Your heart must know that what is impossible to men is possible to God. Know His Word and what belongs to you by taking the time to read it daily.  Meditate on scriptures to settle the matter in your heart that all things are possible with God, that He loves you and wants to bless you.
  3. Spend time in prayer, praise and worship. As you do, you will discover how big and powerful God is. Nothing will seem impossible to you.
  4. Get God involved in your situation. Ask Him for your need. Give Him full leadership and reign over the matter. Don’t tell Him how to solve it. Thank Him for it and stand until you receive. Know that God can do immeasurably more than you can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
  5. If a situation requires you to use your power and authority, do so in the Name of Jesus. Pray in the Spirit for an extended period of time to build yourself up in your most holy faith (Jude 20). Listen to the Spirit’s leading. Follow any direction He may give you.

Call to action:
Believe for an impossible situation in your life today. Meditate on scriptures where everything seemed impossible in the natural yet God made it happen. Realize what a mighty and awesome God we serve.
